Why do the Control Panel, Support Area & Billing Area have different logins?

The technical reason why Control Panel, Support Area & Billing Area have different logins is that we have a variety of hosting solutions, and different solutions have different control panels. For instance, Linux hosting typically has cPanel and/or WHM, while Windows has a Plesk control panel. How you login relies on the hosting service you bought.

Besides, security is another important reason. The benefit of having separate login areas for your billing and control panel is that you can have someone else. For example, a web designer can update your site via the control panel, without needing you to worry.

They will access or modify your financial or billing information in the billing area (client area). Through this, you can be assured that your billing account is secure with separate logins. It can be secured even when you have a web designer logged into your control panel.
